Here's another school project: I had to adapt the novel "La Nuit" (the night) by Maupassant into a videogame.
The game takes place in a strange parrallel of Paris.
The game begins in an old strange Paris. Everything's dark, except for the street lights.
The player embodies an ordinary parisian, and wanders in the streets, searching for a way out. He will encounter pacifics -but half mad- people...
... but also wicked ones.
Bit by bit, Paris will fall in a strange and palpable mist.
For a few seconds, street lights will reveal to the player its environment, to show him his way. And to notice monsters.
The player might comme to the end of his trip, reaching the Arc de Triomphe, turned into a strange portal between dimensions.
